History
TonerPartner was founded in 1993 and has since developed into a leading vertical e-commerce platform in the ink and toner sector. With an impressive track record of five successful acquisitions and a strong market position, the company is now one of the industry leaders in the DACH region.
Its extensive product portfolio includes ink and toner cartridges, which are sold under its own brands ‘ToMax’ and ‘Greenline’, as white label products and under well-known OEM brands.
As a pure D2C provider, TonerPartner serves a broad and loyal customer base of SMEs (B2B) and private customers (B2C) in more than eight European countries.
With a fully integrated multi-channel and multi-shop strategy, the company reaches a wide range of customer segments and benefits from excellent internal e-commerce expertise.
TonerPartner's modern tech stack includes an AI-powered marketing tool, a dynamic pricing platform and a BI-based CRM system, making the company a true pioneer in the field of customer intelligence.
In 2024, TonerPartner continued its successful growth strategy with the acquisition of HD Toner, a German online specialist for printer accessories. This marked the fifth acquisition since 2016 and further strengthened the company's geographical reach and market position.
Based on this strong track record, the CYAN GROUP is now planning its next phase of growth: vertical expansion into adjacent product categories to strategically expand its portfolio and tap into new market potential.

Multiple Frontends, a system
CYAN GROUP operates several online shops and marketplace channels as well as an active B2B sales division under various well-established brands on the European stage. The individual online shops differ in terms of customer approach, new customer acquisition, pricing and brand strategy, and each target a larger audience.
The backends in the areas of infrastructure, logistics, IT systems and business intelligence tools are used across the group to create synergies and optimise OPEX utilisation.
The product portfolio is standardised (one SKU, multiple brands), creating economies of scale and cost advantages in material procurement.
Retaining customers from M&A transactions increases profit margins. The SEO visibility of the M&A shops reduces the group's costs for acquiring new customers.
